Helping shape communities is a reward unto itself. This is why we accepted to get involved in the development of the visual identity for Maior Army.

about the brand

Maior Army is the first ”army of investors” in Romania, with the grandiose goal of buy as many stocks as possible and supporting the community while doing so. The founder is Paul Maior, a stock market investor, entrepreneur and mentor, which has been actively investing since 2010.

Scope of work

The idea was to create a community platform which would help investors share knowledge and feedback on various themes such as crypto currency, economy, stock markets, real estate, and others. Our task was to develop both the UX/UI and the brand identity for Maior Army.

Visual identity

After analyzing the naming we noticed that both words were about the same length and contained the letter ”A”, which we stylized to look like arrows, frequently identified in stock market reports/visuals and army ranks. Thus we were able to link the idea of growth, the main goal of any investor, with the idea of community. The brand colors were also chosen to convey the feeling of looking at a stock market report.

UX/UI design

We used the arrow elements from the brand identity to create diverse visuals used throughout the pages of the Maior Army platform. In order to have a relevant User Journey for both Premium/Platinum and Basic members, we decided to visually separate the sections of the website, starting with the menu.

UX/UI design

We then proceeded to create custom designs for content pages, dashboards, online courses, events, chat rooms, etc. alternating between a light and a dark color theme.
